Garden Concepts specializes in professional garden design and landscape design.   We develop personalized landscape plans for homeowners who plan to hire a landscape contractor to do the complete installation, and for homeowners who plan to complete a portion of the work on a "do-it-yourself" basis.   Our typical project size ranges from residential tract properties to custom residential homes on acreage parcels.  Many of our designs include items such as: water features, fire pits, barbecues, low voltage lighting, garden art and statuary; and the use of a diverse plant palette. 

Our landscape planning style combines the unique use of elements and concept level ideas with sound design principles to develop a garden that is not only beautiful and relaxing, but one that is functional, well organized, and timeless.  We feel it is important to develop a landscape theme that embraces the architectural style of your home.  We strive to develop a cohesive design plan that takes into consideration numerous natural and manmade factors along with our clients landscaping wish list.   We believe in first developing a preliminary landscape plan; this is key to the success of your landscape project.  It will explore the many conceptual design possibilities, as well as help you to prioritize your wish list and make realistic budgetary decisions.   Once the important decisions have been made a final plan drawing is completed and your contractor can schedule your new landscape installation.

Garden Concepts was established in 1993 in Temecula, California.   Garden Concepts is owned by James Garcia, a graduate of Cal Poly University in Pomona with a B.S. degree in Landscape Architecture and minor degree in Ornamental Horticulture.   James Garcia has 15 years of experience in landscape designing and in landscape construction.
